If when you hear Al Green, Otis Redding, Sam Cook or BB King, you imagine Memphis jazz, Beale St.,Jazz guitar and hearing a 1920 and 30’s style jazz roots and jazz singer think again. “Jeff Woods Southern Soul” has a heart beating for American pop music and pop guitar as his performance is a kind of rebirthing of where all that sound was born.

When asked why he plays this style of music? “It’s got something to do with the groove, and it’s got something to do with the soul”. Jeff says “Music can touch your soul. Jeff Woods Southern Soul now plays music/venues, music festivals/concerts and small cocktail party events to date in what is called southern classic soul music and jazz stranards that allows him to share and give back a beautiful love of American pop music.
